Hello, Again.

Its been awhile.  I’ve been absent for almost 2 months (a long time, I know).  But I’ve been busy! I’ve gotten a promotion at work, moved back to Memphis, gotten a puppy, grew my relaxer out and started wearing my natural hair, had a terrible skin breakout AND I gained 10 pounds. TEN POUNDS. My life has been everywhere lately.  There have been plenty of positive and negative moments.  Over these past few weeks, I’ve learned that God puts you where He wants you to be.  So who am I to interfere with His plan…right?  I’ve basically acquired a whole new life these past 2 months and it s something I’m going to have to get used to.

But about these 10 pounds.  I’ve been eating things I know I shouldn’t eat and not working out as much as I normally do.  It’s a shame.  But I’m proud to say that I’m cooking again!  So my healthy recipe videos are right around the corner and these 10 pounds will be off before you know it.

I’ve successfully found a gym in Memphis.  Its kickboxing.  So we’ll see how it goes.  I’ve been enjoying it so far, but its only been a week.

The moral of the story is, sometimes life happens and we get off track.  We may even move in the wrong direction in some aspects of our lives.  However, it’s never too late to get back on the right path.  It’s never too late to move forward. If you look around and you’ve fallen off or you’re not as committed as you once were, that’s fine.  Just be sure to refocus.  Don’t be your own worst enemy and let yourself down.

I may have missed summer time fine season.  But just get ready because fall time fine is a thing too.
