New Routine Alert!

I’ve statrted  new workout regimine! Now I’m warning you, its kind of aggressive BUT its working, so I’m going to keep going.

So firstly, I’m a vegetarian.  I lied.  I eat meat when I feel like it, which is not often.  It takes too long to digest and most of the time I get the “itis” after I consume meat and simple sugars.  I have too much to be doing to be tired after every meal.  So for now, I’m sticking with veggies and sometimes I’ll do fish or shrimp.  I’m also running again.  And I try and run as much as I can.  I do at least 2 miles 5-6 times a week.  Sometimes, if I’m bored, I’ll run more than 2 miles (that doesn’t happen often, but it happens).

I also started taking a pre-workout supplement.  It was recommended to me and I did some research on it, so why not give it a try.  It works.  Take a look at what I’m trying here.  In addition to running, I take a kick boxing class and I do a little weight training, but not much.  To put it all together, here is what a typical day looks like for me.

4am: Get up and run 2 miles
Eat banana
5:45am: Kickboxing class
Breakfast (Egg whites and wheat toast)
8am: Work
Snack (Fruits, usually strawberries and blue berries)
Lunch (whatever I had for dinner the previous day, usually its spaghetti squash)
Snack: Oatmeal or fruits
6pm: Run 1-2 more miles and do pushups, situps, squats, weights, etc
7pm: Walk dog
7:30pm: Dinner

I’m very active during the day and I like it that way.  Whenever I get in the bed, I go right to sleep.   However, I do find myself tired.  Now, I don’t get up at 4am every morning, just Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  But when I’m up, I am up.  This routine has been working for me so far.  I just have to figure  out how to not be so tired all the time.  I usually force myself to get over my tiredness and just do it (Nike send me some workout clothes).  If you have any  suggestions on how to not be as tired, please let me know.  And if you say something smart like “try going to sleep”….just don’t do that please and thank you.

I’ve been doing this for around 3 weeks and I’ve lost 6lbs so far.  So we’ll see where this goes and how long I can keep it up.  I’ll probably be modifying my schedule soon, but for now this is it.   If you’re doing something and its working, please don’t hesitate to share!
